In reply to Babs.

Hi Babs! I use different kinds of protein powders because of the different consistencies to the end products they produce. Using solely whey protein can produce a very gummy end product. While I haven't tried using different types of protein powders in this recipe, you could try pea or hemp protein. I don't use them mucb because they can have a very overpowering taste. Hope that helps!

Just found this recipe and it looks delicious. I have a question I hope you can answer. I’m allergic to milk/whey so I don’t use whey protein. Is there another type of protein powder that I could use in addition to the soy? Why do you have to use two different types of protein powder? Have you ever used the Truvani brand of protein powder? TIA

Yes, it's a pretty gooey recipe, but not so much that it doesn't stick together :)

Does it supposed to be gooey after baking it?

Hey there! Unfortunately since coconut flour is really absorbent, there's not a great sub for it. Happy baking!

Hi, I read in another comment that you could sub the protein powders with oat flour. Is there a substitute for the coconut flour or no? I would prefer not to use it because we're running low, but if there's no good substitute I can.
